I didn't say much about myself, I'm Richard; I'm a Cumbrian Beef and sheep farmer.
The farms not quite as big as Norman's 165 acres, though there is very little arable or any big farms around here, though I've got some wealthy neighbours and house prices are very high.
But things are changing, cereals are £170/ton, I don't get paid subsidies for producing sheep and cattle, just the Single Farm payment.
The local hunt keeps on exercising its hounds, whatever hunt ban was about I don't know?
Anyhow the spring as cold , the lambing rather poor, to many singles , the cows are still inside, things maybe are brighter in France.
