IW: The holiday continues. We are not in The Valley, nor even the Auvergne, but in The Shop.

The landscape here is the drama, but when I wake up and look out of the window of where we are staying, I feel as if I am in a quarry.

Space here is at a premium; any further development and they'll be digging caves to accomodate the demand for apartments. And there is plenty of demand.

Coming from The Valley it feels like a small city; from Paris or London perhaps it feels more like a village. I don't know.
